Pricing

I don't sell fixed packages. Here's how I price SEO and Ads work for Cairns and FNQ businesses, and what you can expect to invest.

Pricing

I get asked about cost early, usually before someone's ready to talk about their actual goals. Fair enough. Here's how I think about it, and roughly what to expect.

How I price

I don't sell fixed packages off a menu. A dental practice competing across three suburbs and a family law firm competing for one high-value keyword set need different amounts of work, so they cost different amounts. What I quote depends on:

  • How competitive your market and keywords actually are
  • The state of your site now (a rebuild-in-disguise costs more than a tune-up)
  • Whether you want SEO alone, or SEO and Google Ads managed together
  • How many locations or service areas you're targeting

I'd rather scope it properly on a call than hand you a number that doesn't mean anything yet.

What that looks like in practice

As a general guide, for a Cairns or FNQ small to medium business:

SEO retainer — starts at $495 +GST a month. Most clients land somewhere between $650 and $1,200 a month, depending on what's actually included. Retainers are built around your business, not sold as fixed packages padded with things you don't need.

One-off technical audit — from around $650 +GST. Useful if you want a clear diagnosis before committing to ongoing work, or if you've got an in-house team who can action the findings themselves.

Google Ads management — starts at $195 +GST a month for a single, fully managed campaign, including ongoing optimisation. You pay Google directly for your ad spend, I don't take a commission on it. Additional campaigns, or more competitive and complex accounts, cost more. I'll quote once I know your industry and goals.

These are starting points, not quotes. Every proposal I send is scoped to what your business actually needs.

You are not locked into any ongoing commitment, all retainers and Ads management campaigns are month to month.

Why I only take one client per industry

Once I take you on as a retained client, I won't work with a competitor in your industry in your market. That's not a marketing line, it's how I've structured my client roster from day one. It means I can't take on everyone who enquires, and it means the businesses I do work with get my full attention rather than a slice of it split across their direct competitors.

If I'm already working with someone in your industry locally, I'll tell you upfront rather than waste your time.

Getting a proper quote

Tell me about your business, what you're trying to achieve, and what's not working at the moment. I'll look at your site and your market, and come back with a scoped proposal, not a generic package. If I don't think I'm the right fit, I'll say so.
