Most SEO training is either too theoretical to act on, or so generic it was out of date before it was recorded. I deliver the other kind. Practical sessions built around the work your team has in front of them, from someone who does this every day rather than someone who teaches it for a living.

I run SEO and AEO training for business teams, marketing staff, and organisations across Cairns and Far North Queensland. Whether that is getting your in-house person confident with Search Console and Google Business Profile, or running a workshop for a group who need to understand how search actually works in 2026, the session is built for the people in the room. Not pulled off a shelf.

A Decade of Delivering This

I have been training people in this for more than ten years. I guest lectured at Curtin University in web design, SEO and digital marketing between 2012 and 2015. From 2016 to 2019 I delivered workshops across Queensland, subcontracted through Central Queensland University. In 2019 I ran SEO workshops for Tourism Tropical North Queensland. The thread through all of it is the same: take something businesses find intimidating and make it usable.

How I Deliver It

In-house team training. I work with your staff on the tools and tasks specific to your business, so they leave able to do the job rather than just describe it.

Workshops. Group sessions for organisations, industry groups, or networks who want their members across the fundamentals.

One-off sessions. A focused block on a single topic, whether that is local search, AEO, or reading your own analytics without guessing.

What You Won't Get

You won't get a slide deck of acronyms and a list of 200 ranking factors. Most of those are either myths or things you will never need to touch. Good training cuts the noise and shows you the handful of things that genuinely move the needle for a business your size, then makes sure you can do them yourself afterwards.
